I have worked from sketches and drawings, blended features from photos of several different styles, and created handmade wood furniture from just an idea or concept.

We do veneering as well as solid wood, working with figured veneers and exotic woods, unusual grains and less common woods, and sometimes blend wood with other materials such as stone or metal. 

I enjoy the better joinery like dovetails, mortise and tenon, and splines; and will also use dowels and screws as appropriate.
