For a faster quote we will need to know these things
We can work with you on things your not sure of!
1. What type of piece are you looking for?
+ What style do you want?
+ What size should the piece be?
2. What species of wood and cut do you like?
Ash, Cherry, Hickory, Maple, Walnut, Anigre?
+ Domestic, Import, or Exotic*
+ Solid or Veneer? The pluses and minuses
+ Plane, Rift, or Quarter Sawn?
+ Wood characteristics (figure)?
+ Any mixed media? Tile, Stone, Glass, Metal, etc.
3. What type of finish do you want?
+ Oil, Lacquer, Other
+ Natural, Stained
+ Matte, Satin, Gloss
4. Are there any critical dimensions? Maximum, minimum, component sizes?
+ What is the size of the space that the piece must fit in?
+ What is the size of the item(s) that must fit inside the piece?
5. Do you have any images or photos that show the style or features that you like?
+ Knobs, pulls, hinges
6. What is the goal for this custom quote, the ideal outcome?
+ Heirloom piece
+ Functional art
+ Solve a specific problem
7. Is there a timeline that the piece must be delivered within?
Note: For our custom orders we require 40% down at the time the order is approved
with the full balance due prior to shipping or upon delivery and acceptance.
*some exotic species are generally no longer available due to international regulation.
